The assumption of the artillery game hasn’t been changed. You still have to fight against the enemy group of worms, and your arsenal is as dangerous as in previous parts. The 2D game takes us to the past, when the strategy game was a hit among adults and teens. Your job is to get rid of all members of enemy’s team. So, the fight themselves are played in turn-based system. It means that both you and your opponent can eliminate almost unlimited amount of cosmic worms. The specified time for the turn hasn’t been changed. If you don’t make it on time, the turn is lost. The number of weapons available in our arsenal is huge. Except for those standard ones, like for example the most favourite among players bazooka, we can hope for some other, more original things. The opponents can be attacked with the help of… running, controlled sheep or extra explosive banana. At our disposal there is of course rope in standard inventory, but the novelty is the possibility to dig to the core of earth. The appearance of the worms itself is a bit different. They have got different types of eyes, what is very visible for more experienced players. The rest of theirs appearance stayed the game.

For the refreshment of the co-op Worms W.M.D PS4, XONE, PC, there are several gadgets added there. There are for example vehicles, which are located on the battle fields of the game Worms for the first time. You can not only drive these vehicles but also use them to attack enemies. For more hardened players there are tanks equipped with cannons at their disposal. They deal high damage. Another novelty is the introduction of buildings on the map. Worms can hide there before the attack.
